Survivor contestants Mike Holloway and Shirin Oskooi need to catch a break.

With eight competitors left, Holloway and Oskooi are clearly on the outs. Other castaways have begun to verbally berate them, leading to uncomfortable fireworks each week.

They will likely be the next two Murica tribe members to go unless the stars align for them. (Then again, what do we know? The first rule of Survivor is that anything can happen.)

Holloway has a hidden immunity idol, but it’s going to take more than that to keep him and Oskooi in contention for the million-dollar prize.

Their salvation may come in the form of a second immunity necklace.

On Wednesday’s episode of Survivor: Worlds Apart, host Jeff Probst will introduce a new wrinkle for the immunity challenge. Instead of one castaway emerging victorious, two contestants will win: one man and one woman.

It’s not the first time Survivor has offered two immunity necklaces, but it comes at just the right time in a season that has grown increasingly contentious and ugly.

Survivor: Worlds Apart airs Wednesdays (8 p.m. ET) on CBS.
