"I won't feel like a true pop culture icon until I've been on the Kardashians," says Stephen Hawking

“I won’t feel like a true pop culture icon until I’ve been on the Kardashians,” Hawking, 74, told ABC’s World News Tonight in a recent interview about his and Russian entrepreneur Yuri Milner’s plans for interstellar exploration.

Yes, this theoretical physicist – who has appeared on The Simpsons, The Big Bang Theory and had an Oscar-nominated movie about his life made – wants to be on Keeping up with the Kardashians. Scientific geniuses really are just like us!
