It doesn’t get more A-list than this.

George Clooney is slated as Stephen Colbert‘s first guest when the comedian takes over the Late Show next month.

“George Clooney will be my first-ever #LSSC guest on September 8th! Could one of you let him know?” Colbert, 51, Tweeted on Friday.

Clooney, 54, currently has two movies in post-production: Hail, Caesar! and Money Monster. And the Late Show premiere date comes just weeks before the actor celebrates his one-year wedding anniversary with his wife, acclaimed human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin.

Colbert, known for his faux Republican persona on Comedy Central’s Colbert Report, has been gradually teasing the tone of his new show, poking fun at Donald Trump’s presidential announcement in a promo and taking over a Michigan public access news show to interview rapper Eminem.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert premieres Sept. 8 at 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS.
