The Southern Charm gang’s tranquil and relaxing weekend getaway to the country is about to go south – fast.

In an exclusive sneak peek at Monday’s new episode, tensions fly when the always-controversial Kathryn Dennis comes up.

Just when the debate about whether to invite Dennis seems to have been resolved (Shep Rose did extend the invite to his cabin, but she stayed home on bed rest during her second pregnancy), the firebrand’s name comes up again when Craig Conover tries to get to the bottom of Whitney Sudler-Smith and Cameron Eubanks‘ deep dislike for Kathryn. (The two refused to go camping if Dennis would be there.)

Conover bluntly confronts Sudler-Smith, saying, “You’re just mad she started sleeping with your best friend, like, four days after sleeping with you. Why else would you be so mean towards Kathryn?”

A shocked Eubanks asks Conover to retract his statement but he refuses, asking, “Why? Because you guys can’t come up with a reason why you guys hate Kathryn?”

“I am absolutely shocked,” says Eubanks. “I have never heard this theory from Craig before.”

Sudler-Smith jumps to defend himself saying, “Number one, I slept with her way before Thomas.”

Then Conover pushes tensions further by accusing Sudler-Smith of briefly living with Dennis.

“She was not living with me. She’s a liar,” screams Sudler-Smith. “She’s a proven liar. Are you believing her over me?”

While Conover’s actions are in part to defend his friend, it may have been his underlying grudge against Sudler-Smith that helped him reach this boiling point.

“You called me out at my parent’s house for stuff that wasn’t true,” Conover yells at Sudler-Smith.

Southern Charm airs Mondays (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
