Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello certainly had a fairy-tale wedding, so it’s no surprise the party – and after-party! – were just as special.

During a Thursday appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Vergara, 43, details her Nov. 22 wedding, which took place at The Breaker’s Resort in Palm Beach, Florida, in front of 350 guests that the actress describes as “family and closest friends.”

After teasing the host for not attending her nuptials (“the people that went” got gift bags, apparently), Vergara gushes about her son, Manolo, 23, who gave her away.

“It was like a dream, like a fairy tale,” Vergara says. “Like, it came out perfectly like how I wanted. I have to say, the people that work helping me do the wedding, amazing!”

“Were you intimidated because of the dancing that was gonna go on there?” Vergara asks DeGeneres. “You do your little dancing here, but I had a feeling you thought you were not going to be able to … like measure up with the Latin people. But there were also American people there, I married an American so!” (Side note: Her “American” certainly has moves of his own – Manganiello, 38, recreated his famous Magic Mike XXL convenience store dance routine during the reception for his bride!)

“And how long did the reception go to, like what was the latest?” DeGeneres asks.

“Like 6 in the morning,” Vergara replies. “We had like a party and then we had an after-party.”

While “not everybody” was drunk, the Modern Family actress admits her costars on the hit show “were tipsy.”

“We had a great time,” Vergara tells DeGeneres. “A lot of food, a lot of flowers. A lot of like, nice people. You missed a very good party!”

After tying the knot, the happy couple jetted off to Turks and Caicos for a romantic honeymoon. On Monday, the newlyweds returned to Los Angeles, and by Tuesday, Vergara was already back at work.
