Channing Tatum Adorably Supported Wife Jenna as Her 'So You Think You Can Dance' Partner Said He 'Wanted to Do My Part'

The actress tells PEOPLE she was surprised by how easily she got back into her Step Up days

Channing Tatum definitely thinks his wife Jenna Dewan Tatum can dance. The star was on hand for wife’s dance routine during Monday’s So You Think You Can Dance finale.

After the performance, Channing, 35, shared some adorable photos from backstage of his exhausted wife, whose sexy performance with Travis Wall turned heads.

Jenna, 34, is currently shooting her role as Lucy Lane on CBS’ upcoming Supergirl. She said she was surprised by how easily she got back into her Step Up days.

“The best thing about dance is there is a certain element of muscle memory, so it’s rusty at first and then after a bit of time you’re like, ‘Okay, that’s coming back,’ ” the former SYTYCD guest judge told PEOPLE. “It may not have been what I was doing in my prime 15 years ago, but it’s still there and different, more mature colors come out.”

After the performance, Wall said Channing “loved it” and added, “I know he probably wanted to do my part, but I think he’s super happy that it’s me dancing with her.”
