This weekend’s Saturday Night Live opened with a very special announcement: President George W. Bush would be … running for president again!

Of course that meant Bush, played by Will Ferrell, had to explain how little he thought of the current batch of Republican candidates.

Most of them he dismissed – Ben Carson was a low-talker, Sens. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio sounded like “two halves of a Miami law firm” – but it was for Donald Trump that he saved his biggest laughs.

Literally: Ferrell’s Bush couldn’t get more than a few words into describing Trump’s (often controversial) policy proposals without bursting into laughter.

“I tell ya something: Whenever I get in a bad mood, I just picture his big fat orange Oompa Loompa face and I just piss my pants,” Bush said.

Bush, in his exact SNL Bush way, had this to say about Trump’s plan to ban Muslims from traveling to America:

Not only was it very “un-American,” it was also exactly the same kind of bad thinking that led this nation to put leprechauns in internment camps in the ’20s – and “leprechaun relations have never recovered since, that’s why they are so hard to find.”

But with Bush back in the race, what would happen to his brother Jeb? Oh, Jeb.

“Look,” George W. said, referring to Jeb’s exclamation-marked campaign signage. “I don’t like the taste of broccoli, but it doesn’t get any tastier if you call it ‘broccoli!’ “
