People.com Entertainment TV SNL Cast Members and Hosts Who Have Impersonated the Kardashian-Jenner Family In honor of Kim Kardashian West hosting Saturday Night Live on Oct. 9, take a look back at the show's cast members who have impersonated her famous family in the past By Andrea Wurzburger Updated on October 11, 2021 04:32 PM Share Tweet Pin Email 01 of 15 Nasim Pedrad as Kim Kardashian West Dimitrios Kambouris/E/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images Pedrad, who was on Saturday Night Live for five seasons beginning in 2009, was the show's resident Kim Kardashian West impersonator. Pedrad told Conan O'Brien that she did eventually meet Kardashian, and "was very, very scared," but the mogul "was really sweet." She added that Kardashian West just wanted to know one thing: "At one point she was like, 'Do we really sound like that?' " Pedrad continued, "I was like '...No', and she just goes, 'Ohhh, good!' She was so sweet!" 02 of 15 Nicki Minaj as Kim Kardashian West Dana Edelson/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images; Stefanie Keenan/Getty Images Pedrad isn't the only person to have impersonated the SKIMS founder on the late-night sketch show! In 2014, musical guest Minaj took a turn channeling Kardashian West following her infamous, Internet-breaking Paper Magazine cover. The rapper joked on "Weekend Update" that the nude photos were just missing context, adding in backgrounds like a doctors office, a chalkboard and a beach. 03 of 15 Vanessa Bayer as Kourtney Kardashian Dimitrios Kambouris/E/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images Bayer was tasked with channeling the eldest Kardashian ("the smart one") in multiple sketches through the years. 04 of 15 Abby Elliott as Khloé Kardashian Dimitrios Kambouris/E/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images And Elliott gave her best Khloé. Can you see a resemblance?! 05 of 15 Jay Pharaoh as Kanye West Saturday Night Live; Brad Barket/Getty Images Pharaoh is known for being a talented impressionist, and his impersonation of Kanye was one of his best. The comedian portrayed the rapper in a series of skits called "Waking Up with Kimye" in 2013. In February, Pharaoh said that West actually called him in 2014 because he saw the comedian impersonate him. "He decided he wanted to call me up and he just wanted to let me know where he came from and Kanye West's background," Pharaoh told Lily Singh. "He wanted me to pull up and be like, 'Out of respect, I'm not gonna impersonate big bro," but forget that!" He joked, "You gave me more material and I'm gonna use it in my next skit." 06 of 15 Cecily Strong as Kendall Jenner Saturday Night Live; Pepsi Strong channeled the supermodel in a sketch spoofing that infamous, controversial Pepsi commercial. In the bit, the commercial's writer-director, played by Beck Bennett, called his family and friends to tell them about his commercial — only to find that no one thought it was a good idea. 07 of 15 Kristen Wiig as Kris Jenner Saturday Night Live; Frazer Harrison/Getty Images When it comes to impressions, Wiig never misses, and that was certainly the case when she impersonated the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch in a September 2013 sketch about Kim's divorce from Kris Humphries. 08 of 15 Gal Gadot as Kendall Jenner Saturday Night Live; Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images In 2017, SNL poked fun at the seemingly never-ending spin-offs that came from Keeping Up with the Kardashians, tapping host Gadot to play Kendall and "star" in the new fake TV shows Kendall's Model House and Kendall's World for the sketch "E! New Line Up." 09 of 15 Chris Redd as Kanye West Saturday Night Live; Bennett Raglin/Getty Images Redd played Kanye in the same short, poking fun at "the moments on The Kardashians when Kanye clearly doesn't want to be on camera," and promoting his fictional new show, Where's Kanye? He reprised the role in 2021 when he played Kanye in the "The People's Kourt." 10 of 15 Mikey Day and Kim Kardashian West as Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian NBC; Jason Kempin/Getty When Kardashian West hosted Saturday Night Live in October, she channeled her own sister, Kourtney Kardashian, for a sketch called "The People's Kourt." The sketch spotlights Kourtney as she "puts her judgy-ness to good use and tackles the most serious family issues." Kim perfected her sister's signature deadpan voice, saying, "Order, order, order in the Kourtney. I'm good at this." Then, she snuggled up to Mikey Day, who played Kourtney's boyfriend, drummer Travis Barker. The sketch poked fun at the couple's love of PDA. 11 of 15 Heidi Gardner as Kim Kardashian West Rosalind O'Connor/NBC/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty; Mike Coppola/Getty Also in "The People's Kourt" sketch, Heidi Gardner played Kardashian West. It didn't matter that the comedian looked nothing like Kim because she wore the star's 2021 Met Gala look, which covers her entire face. 12 of 15 Melissa Villaseñor and Halsey as Kylie and Kendall Jenner NBC; Christopher Polk/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Melissa Villaseñor and musical guest Halsey also took on members of Kim's family when they played Kylie and Kendall Jenner, who were both hilariously being sued by their mom Kris Jenner (played by the real Kris Jenner). In the sketch, Kris is "suing Kylie because she hasn't had her baby yet" and Kendall because "she has absolutely no drama. She won't cause any drama and it's damaging our brand." Genius! 13 of 15 Aidy Bryant as Kim Kardashian West Rosalind O'Connor/NBC/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty; Gotham/GC Images In a hilarious Freaky Friday-inspired sketch, Aidy Bryant and Kardashian West use a magic clock to switch places for the day. Bryant then appears as Kim ... 14 of 15 Aidy Bryant as Kris Jenner Will Pippin/NBC/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty (2) ... and then as matriarch Kris Jenner after Kardashian West demands to switch back into her own body. 15 of 15 Cecily Strong as Jourtney (a.k.a. Kourtney Kardashian) NBC; Dave Kotinsky/Getty Strong channeled Kourtney for a sketch featuring Pete Davidson as Aladdin and Kardashian West as Jasmine. At one point, Strong's character joins the two and Kardashian West's character says, "That's my sister, Jourtney. We all have 'J' names," a nod to her family's affinity for "K" names.
