Simone Biles Pitches Final Five Gymnasts as 'Saturday Night Live' Hosts: 'PLEASE!'

SNL returns Oct. 1 to NBC

They’ve competed in front of global audiences, presented at the MTV Video Music Awards, and now the Final Five are ready to host Saturday Night Live.

Rio Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles made the case for her and her fellow U.S.A. gymnast teammates – Aly Raisman, Madison Kocian, Laurie Hernandez and Gabby Douglas – to host the longtime NBC sketch show.

In response to SNL asking its Twitter followers who should host the upcoming season 42, Biles chimed in on behalf of the Final Five.

“#FinalFive PLEASE!” Biles, 19, tweeted. “We have been dying to do it.”

The five athletes, who are single and ready to mingle, most recently presented the best female video award to Beyoncé at MTV’s VMAs on Sunday night.

Since becoming household names during the 2016 Olympics in Rio, the gymnasts have met numerous A-list faces, including Kim Kardashian West, Kanye West, Ariana Grande, Grace Helbig, Naomi Campbell and Fifth Harmony.

Saturday Night Live returns Oct. 1 for season 42 on NBC.
