With loud jackets and pink shoelaces, Jesse Csincsak, a snowboarder from Colorado, won over DeAnna Pappas on last season’s The Bachelorette and the couple became engaged on the show’s finale in July.

Their relationship didn’t last, but now that Jesse is back on the market, his female fans, including Montana grandmother Lynn Pinkerton, want to see him on the next installment of The Bachelor.

Pinkerton set up an online petition, hoping to convince producers to pick Jesse for the ABC reality show. So far it’s gathered more than 1,400 signatures (at time of publish). Pinkerton started the petition for Jesse because “he’s completely different from anybody else I saw on the show,” she told Colorado’s Summit Daily News. Her goal is to get 2,000 signatures.

Add your signature to the petition.

But is Jesse willing to look for love by handing out roses on The Bachelor? “I’m not necessarily opposed, but ABC hasn’t offered me anything,” Csincsak told the paper.

If he’s picked, Jesse will have to wait for at least a season. Another one of DeAnna’s rejected guys, handsome single dad Jason Mesnick, will star in the upcoming season of the show, which starts January 5 with a two-hour special on ABC. — Nicholas White
