'Sherlock' : Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman Return in Trailer for Victorian-Era Special

The PBS Masterpiece special will air later this year

) The trailer for the Sherlock Victorian-era set special episode is finally here!

The one-off finds Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman tackling a case in 18th century London as Detective Sherlock Holmes and his partner Dr. John Watson. Due to the time period shift, Holmes is sporting a deerstalker and Watson has a mustache.

The trailer doesn’t give much away in terms of plot, but we know the case the two men are pursuing is serious.

“Make no mistake, this is war,” Sherlock says the trailer.

This isn’t the first glimpse we’ve gotten of the special. In July, PBS released a clip of the special that features Holmes and Watson returning to 221 Baker Street to an annoyed Mrs. Hudson. In addition to solving cases, Watson is also writing a novels, which Mrs. Hudson doesn’t enjoy.

Sherlock returns to PBS Masterpiece in 2016.
