Shawn Booth and his fiancée Kaitlyn Bristowe (plus their dog Tucker!) have moved from Nashville to New York City while she hosts Home for the Holidays, a Broadway show at the August Wilson Theatre, in November and December. “There is so much energy here,” says Booth, 30, who grew up in Connecticut. “I missed the weather, the winter and the snow, especially for the holidays. We’re so excited. And it feels like it’s brought us closer together.” Adds the former Bachelorette contestant: “We were actually here for the show. We were in New York City for a week filming but it’s definitely a different experience now. We can explore the city together, and I don’t have to share her with 20 other guys!” Inside Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Farmhouse in Nashville Walter McBride/Getty In addition to the move, Booth is keeping busy with his own ventures. The personal trainer is once again supporting the Movember Foundation by sporting a mustache throughout the month of November to raise awareness about men’s health issues, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer and more. “I’ve had multiple family members affected by men’s diseases,” he says. “So it’s definitely a cause that’s near and dear to my heart.” The triathlete is also continuously committed to health and fitness. With his new customized meal plans and workouts, available on ShawnBoothMeals.com, Booth is providing support for people focused on getting healthy. “We’ve helped hundreds of people lose weight and get into the shape they want to be in,” he says. And now, Booth is looking forward to celebrating Christmas with Bristowe, 32, in the city. “It will be just the two of us in our apartment celebrating,” he says. “For the past two years, we’ve done the same thing. We take a mattress from the bedroom and put it in between the couches in front of the TV and make a little fort and just eat and play video games and relax all day!”
