Shahs of Sunset Star Golnesa 'GG' Gharachedaghi Reposts Video of Wedding Vows Amidst Criticism
Valentine’s Day may be over, but there’s still a lot of love in the air over on the Instagram page of Shahs of Sunset star Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi.
The 35-year-old Bravolebrity shared video of her private wedding ceremony with husband Shalom on Wednesday — a clip she originally posted earlier but then wound up deleting after it was flooded with mean comments.
“Over the years I’ve learned that I don’t need to share every aspect of my life with Instagram,” she wrote in the video’s caption. “It’s hard enough dealing with all of the mean things people say to me just from watching my show. So I took the video down.”
The decision to put the video back up was an easy one for Gharachedaghi, though.
“I realized, that this moment right here, this moment is worth sharing with the world,” she said.
The Jan. 25 ceremony was a casual one — with Gharachedaghi wearing ripped jeans and a long-sleeve white shirt, and Shalom in grey jeans and a black shirt.
The video shows the couple exchanging a few small comments before they’re pronounced “husband and wife and spouses for life.”
“Oh my God,” Gharachedaghi exclaims in the clip, before kissing Shalom.
In the caption, she explained more about their wedding — adding that they plan on eventually having a bigger party with their loved ones present.
“It was just the two of us and the good grace of God, which was good enough for us,” she wrote. “And for lots of you asking, yes, we still plan on having a reception at some point so we can share our love with family and friends.”
“He’s Jewish, I’m Muslim. Let this be a lesson to many closed minded people, that love has no religion, it has no race, it has no limitations. Love always conquers!” Gharachedaghi added.

The pair got engaged in December when Shalom used a New York’s Times Square billboard featuring Gharachedaghi’s giant picture on it to pop the question.
“Golnesa, My Love, My Everything… Will You Marry Me?” the sweet message read.
“In the middle of Times Square… he asked… and I said… HELL YESSSSS!” Gharachedaghi wrote on Instagram. “So happy to spend my life with him. I love you @shalom310.”
Not long after the couple got engaged, they documented their excitement for their upcoming nuptials on Instagram.
The engagement will likely be part of the upcoming sixth season of Shahs of Sunset, premiering in 2017 on Bravo.
