Karlen "Chris" Shubaralyan is charged with allegedly victimizing his ex-wife, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney s Office
Jessica Parido’s new boyfriend, Karlen “Chris” Shubaralyan, is facing some serious criminal charges.
Shubaralyan – who was first spotted out with Parido just days after she filed for divorce from Shahs of Sunset star Mike Shouhed in November – has been charged with 10 felony counts in a domestic violence case, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced Thursday.
According to the announcement, Shubaralyan, 37, is charged with allegedly victimizing his ex-wife.
He faces one count each of forcible rape, stalking and first-degree burglary, two counts each of injuring a spouse and dissuading a witness from reporting a crime and three counts of criminal threats.
The District Attorney’s Office says the alleged incidents began in 2014 and the most recent incident occurred on Feb. 8.
The complaint also includes the allegation that Shubaralyan was out on bail or on his own recognizance for nine unrelated felony counts including grand theft and passing non-sufficient funds checks exceeding $950.
Shubaralyan’s arraignment has been set for Feb. 22. If convicted as charged, he faces a possible maximum sentence of 25 years and eight months in state prison.
