Seven Year Switch's Aleshia and Houston Osemwengie Are Expecting a Baby Girl!
"Switch therapy definitely has had a positive, lasting effect on our marriage," the couple tells PEOPLE exclusively
The seven-year itch is over for this Seven Year Switch couple!
Aleshia and Houston Osemwengie – one of four couples who starred on FYI network’s hit reality show – are expecting a baby girl, they tell PEOPLE exclusively.
“Houston and I are so overjoyed to announce that we’re expecting our first baby soon,” says Aleshia, who met Houston at a party eight years ago. “Switch therapy definitely has had a positive, lasting effect on our marriage.”
According to the graduate student, she and her engineer-by-day, DJ-by-night husband “got pregnant a month after returning from the switch” after making quality time “a priority” in their relationship. On the show, Aleshia and Houston “switched” spouses with Atlanta couple Leah and Neal Carney.
Developed by Kinetic Content (which also created FYI’s hit Married at First Sight), Seven Year Switch splits up unhappy couples and pairs them with a new partner for two weeks to determine whether their marriage is still worth fighting for.
