The American Idol countdown is underway! With the seventh season set to begin in only 19 days, we’ve got the dates you need to mark on your calendar — and to set your TiVo.

On Tuesday, Jan. 15 and Wednesday, Jan. 16, American Idol‘s seventh season premiere with a pair of two-hour episodes. Then, for the next three weeks, enjoy the kooky and the cringe-worth performances, as well as amazing raw talent, as Idol auditions take over San Diego, Dallas, Omaha, Atlanta, Charleston, Miami and Philadelphia in episodes that air Tuesdays and Wednesdays. See if you can pick the next American Idol — or the next Sanjaya!

The Hollywood round will air on Tuesday Feb. 12, with the top 24 named on Wednesday Feb. 13.

The first performances will air on Tuesday Feb. 19, when the men take the Idol stage, followed by the ladies on Wednesday, Feb. 20. On the first live results show on Thursdays, Feb. 21, two male and two female contestants will be sent home.

For the next two weeks, the men will perform on Tuesdays, the women on Wednesdays and the live results shows will happen on Thursdays.

All contestants, both male and female, will perform on March 11 in another two-hour episode, which will be followed by the first single elimination on Wednesday, March 12.
