He’s a terrible person. He’s a thief and a murderer. He’s downright horrible. He’s… Count Olaf!

On Thursday Netflix released the first teaser for the highly anticipated new show A Series of Unfortunate Events and it’scringeworthy in all the best ways.

For the first time, fans of Lemony Snicket’s best-selling books finally get to see Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf and he doesn’t disappoint. Olaf is grotesque, creepy and just plain awful, but he’s the orphaned Baudelaire children’s new guardian.
