Scott Disick and Kimberly Stewart Are Just 'Great Pals,' Says Her Mom

Alana Stewart shoots down rumors that the reality stars are more than friends, telling PEOPLE there is "absolutely no truth to that whatsoever."

Scott Disick and Kimberly Stewarthave been spotted out and about together recently, but that doesn’t mean they are more than friends, says Kimberly’s mother Alana Stewart.

Alana denies rumors that Disick has been hooking up with Kimberly, who is the daughter of Rod Stewart and a childhood friend of Disick’s ex Kourtney Kardashian, telling PEOPLE there is “absolutely no truth to that whatsoever.”

Alana says Scott is among her kids Sean and Kimberly’s “oldest friends,” and that’s all there is to it.

“They introduced Scott to Kourtney. I was there when it happened, so I can tell you they’re all great pals,” says Alana. “Scott and Kimberly and Sean are great friends and they have been for many years and Kimberly and Sean love Kourtney.”

The rumors began swirling after Disick was spotted hanging out at Warwick in Hollywood Aug. 26 with the cast of Stewarts & Hamiltons, including Kimberly, Sean, their father Rod and his wife Penny Lancaster.

Disick, 32, and Kardashian, 36, split in July after nine years together. They have three children together.

Stewarts & Hamiltons airs Sunday at 9 p.m. ET, and Keeping Up with the Kardashians returns Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. ET on E!
