Kourtney Kardashian and the father of her three children broke up in July

Almost six months after Kourtney Kardashian ended her nine-year relationship with Scott Disick, fans are finally getting a glimpse at his emotional apology.

A clip from the upcoming episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians shows Disick, 32, struggling to explain his wild behavior in a meeting with Kourtney, 36, her two sisters and Kris Jenner at the momager’s Calabasas, California, mansion.

Kourtney, 36, and the father of her three children broke up in July when he was photographed partying hard and cozying up to another woman in Monte Carlo.

The stars have always had their highs and lows, but Disick spiraled out of control after the death of both his parents and birth of their now 1-year-old son Reign. (The episode was filmed after the Kardashians’ St. Barths trip over the summer, and he has since been treated for alcoholism in rehab.)

“This is the stuff that I don’t understand. You say, ‘Oh I don’t have a family and I don’t have all these things,’ and then we give you one,” Khloé Kardashian asks. “Why do you like destroy it?”

“I’m sure you guys have heard a lot of horrible things about me that I should have been honest with, but I was too ashamed I was going to hurt everybody in this family, and not just her. I’ve apologized to Kourtney a hundred times but I’ve never apologized to like all of you for letting all of you down and embarrassing you guys,” Disick responds, crying from behind dark sunglasses. “I understand I need to help myself way before I can help her or my kids or whatever, but it’s just been a really hard time going from like having all of you guys to having nobody, you know?”

The camera show Kourtney wiping away tears from her eyes, but viewers won’t see how she responds until KUWTK airs Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on E!
