There’ll be no need to worry about hiding Kerry Washington‘s baby bump on Scandal because the show won’t be back until midseason.

On Tuesday, ABC announced that Scandal will premiere season 6 in the middle of the 2016 17 schedule, with the Piper Perabo-led freshman drama Notorious taking the place of Washington’s hit show on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.

Though Rhimes’ #TGIT hits Grey’s Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder will remain in their 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. time slots, respectively, the Scandal schedule shift marks the first time in several seasons that showrunner Shonda Rhimes‘ series will share the three-hour bloc with a non-Shondaland project.

The change-up comes right on the heels of the news that Washington, 39, is expecting her second child with husband Nnamdi Asomugha.

The actress and the former San Francisco 49ers cornerback are already parents to 2-year-old daughter Isabelle Amarachi. Washington officially debuted her pregnancy on the Met Gala carpet on May 2.

Following the midseason announcement, Washington took to Instagram and declared that she was unplugging from social media for the time being. Her post read: “It’s time for me to take a teeny break from social media. Feeling called to be a bit more quiet and still. Not sure how long it’ll last but don’t worry, I’ll be back soon enough. This space has become such a community. I’m very grateful. Thank you. I’ll be thinking of youz and I’m sending love to you wherever you are… #MermaidGram.”
