"I'm proud of you," Liv tells the president

Is this the end of Olitz?

In a sneak peek of Thursday’s Scandal finale, we see a familiar scene: Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and President Fitzgerald Grant (Tony Goldwyn) tenderly talking on the phone as their theme music swells.

It seems as if Liv has finally forgiven him for declaring war in a failed attempt to rescue her from kidnappers. (Just go with it.)

“I’m proud of you,” she coos, tearing up.

But then: “Goodbye, Fitz.”

No “I love you,” no “Let’s make this work.” Just “Goodbye.”

Has she realized Vermont is just a dream? Is she flying back to an island with Jake (Scott Foley)? Or is she trying to protect Fitz and Mellie (Bellamy Young) from Command’s diabolical plan?

Find out when the Scandal season 4 finale airs Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on ABC – and don’t forget the popcorn and red wine.
