Ellen DeGeneres Will Give $10,000 to Charity if Darby Stanchfield Can Sneak This Hilarious Fan Art into Scandal
Tony Goldwyn was the first Scandal star to successfully incorporate one of Ellen DeGeneres' props
During an appearance on Wednesday’s episode of the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Stanchfield is given a random object to sneak into a scene on the hit ABC show – and if she’s successful, DeGeneres will give $10,000 to the charity of Stanchfield’s choice.
The prop challenge is something DeGeneres has done with most of the Scandal stars before – in fact, Tony Goldwyn was the first one to successfully incorporate one of the objects, sneaking an urn into a scene last year.
Stanchfield was previously given a giant lollipop, and for her second chance at winning the challenge, she was assigned a framed picture of DeGeneres and wife Portia De Rossi (who also stars on Scandal), drawn by a fan.
“This is from a fan, I don’t know whoever sent it to me – thank you, it’s going to be on Scandal now,” DeGeneres says.
If Stanchfield is successful, DeGeneres will donate the money to the Wilderness Society, which is the actress’ charity of choice.
Tune into Ellen on Wednesday to catch Stanchfield’s full interview (check local listings).
