When you turn on your TV next week, don’t be surprised to see Samantha Harris giving away money – lots of money.

The Dancing with the Stars co-host will take over for Meredith Vieira on Who Wants to be a Millionaire next week.

“I’ve never hosted a game show before,” enthuses Harris, who found stepping into Vieira’s shoes “incredibly exciting.” Says Harris: “I loved being able to have a couch-side chat to connect with the player.”

She also enjoyed helping make people a little richer. “I had a lot of winners when I was on,” she tells PEOPLE.

But not to worry, Dancing fans: Harris isn’t about to give up her main gig. “I’m as excited to be on this show as I ever was,” says Harris, who’s completing her seventh season on DWTS. “I know I sound like a broken record every season, but everybody is so nice. Really, we have a great group of people. There are no egos.”

As for who’s going to take home the mirror ball trophy this season, Harris says, “It’s anybody’s game.”

“A lot of people are shocked that Ty Murray is still here but he really touches the audience because he is so unassuming,” she adds. “He’s that fish out of water and he really has improved every week – that improvement can really take somebody far.”
