The 2016 Screen Actors Guild Awards tapped the year’s top comedy on Saturday night: Orange Is the New Black!

Patricia Arquette and J.K. Simmons presented the 2016 SAG Award for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series live from Los Angeles.

Laura Prepon said on behalf of the cast: “This is such an honor. Look at his stage – this is what we talk about when we talk about diversity.”

Prepon noted, “This wouldn’t be possible without [series creator] Jenji Kohan, for never shying away from telling these incredible stories.”

She also thanked Piper Kerman, the woman behind OITNB. “Piper, this wouldn’t be possible without your memoir!”

Orange Is the New Black scored recognition from the Screen Actors Guild this year alongside fellow nominees The Big Bang Theory, Key & Peele, Modern Family, Transparent and Veep.

The 22nd annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were presented live on TNT and TBS.
