Entertainment TV Ryan Reynolds Stars in Super Bowl Ad – See the Exclusive Photos! Hyundai is making sure they bring comedy to the big game By Naja Rayne Updated on December 1, 2020 09:33 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Courtesy Hyundai That’s one way to make a debut! In its first year as an official Super Bowl sponsor, Hyundai is pulling A-list celebrities and top notch comedy out of its hat. Casting Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Hart to bring on the laughs, the automobile maker will air four commercials – a much-anticipated part of the night – during the big game. Reynolds, 39, will star in one of the spots, titled “Ryanville” – and PEOPLE has exclusive shots of the father of one’s upcoming role. In the first, Reynolds serves as a distraction as two women try to keep their focus on the road “while driving through the most distracting neighborhood ever.” Perhaps a neighborhood full of Ryan Reynolds clones? In the second, the actor puts on his philanthropy cap, as the spot “follows the life of a newborn boy, from adolescence through to adulthood, as he strives to make the world a better place.” The “First Date” commercial features the 36-year-old comedian. It “will air during the coveted pre-kick time slot,” as viewers watch Hart use the car’s Blue Link Car Finder feature to “ensure his daughter gets home safely.” “Part stuntman, part over-protective dad, altogether hysterically funny,” Eric Springer, Innocean ad agency’s Chief Creative Officer, said. “There will be plenty of beer coming out of people’s noses this Super Bowl thanks to Kevin being in this spot.” Super Bowl 50 airs on Feb. 7 at 3:25 p.m. PT.
