"I won't give up on love," the Olympic swimmer says. "I believe it's out there"
Are realty TV and Olympic swimming star Ryan Lochte a perfect match?
Viewers will have their answer when his new E! show, What Would Ryan Lochte Do?, debuts April 21.
Goofily touting his boyish fashion style and his “Lochte edge,” the University of Florida alum, 28, shares his life philosophy and trademarked saying “Jeah,” as well as his brash and emotional take on women, who seem to be in deep supply since the 11-time Olympic medalist became a star at the London Games last year.
“Going out to look for a date, I don’t have to do that,” Lochte says in a trailer for the show (watch below). “They come to me.”
But when he’s not being cocky and funny (and showing plenty of his toned physique) Lochte reveals his tender side while talking about the support of his mother and family – and the future Mrs. Lochte.
“I wanna settle down. I want to find the one I can share the rest of my life with. I just don’t see that happening soon,” he says, noting that his busy life makes it hard to maintain a relationship.
“I won’t give up on love,” says Lochte, who has confessed celebrity crushes on Blake Lively and Miss USA Olivia Culpo. “I believe it’s out there. I believe everyone has a soul mate that they can spend the rest of their life together.”
