Spoilers from Dancing with the Stars‘ 20th season finale follow.

Her celebrity fan base alone was enormous going into Tuesday’s finale.

But in the end, it wasn’t just the supportive Tweets from Miley Cyrus, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ashton Kutcher, Sofia Vergara, Rachel Zoe, Demi Moore, Larry King and Courtney Love that helped Rumer Willis earn the Mirrorball Trophy Tuesday. It was the fans that her partner Val Chmerkovskiy described as “not having a million followers” who helped the 26-year-old actress/singer earned the big prize after the show’s 20th season.

Singer/actor Riker Lynch came in second place, followed by Army vet Noah Galloway.

“To have such incredible support, especially from my mom who rallied everyone, I feel so grateful,” Willis told PEOPLE after the show. “It means so much.”

“And the fans who just made an account to say something nice,” added Chmerkovskiy. “Thank you to them.”

Willis flashed big smiles during her final dance with Chmerkovskiy on Tuesday – a combo that earned the duo yet another perfect score of 40.

After, Willis said she had only one thing on her mind as she sashayed across the ballroom floor: “After three months of dancing every day, my favorite thing is getting to dance with Val,” Willis told PEOPLE. “That was the last time on this stage that I got to do that, so I wanted to make it the best I possibly could.”
