Rob Kardashian returned to Instagram on the same day that his sister Khloé Kardashian said he is taking his diabetes diagnosis "seriously."

On Wednesday, Rob, 28, posted his first picture on the app in nine weeks, sharing a meme about losing the $1.6 billion Powerball. (The winners’ identities remain unknown, but three jackpot-scoring tickets were reportedly bought in Florida, Tennessee and Chino Hills, California, a Los Angeles suburb).

During a Wednesday appearance on Good Morning America, Khloé, 31, confirmed her reclusive brother was diagnosed with diabetes after he was rushed to the hospital in late December.

Though the reality star said she didn’t know whether Rob has Type I or Type II diabetes, she said she hopes the scare would “shake him up a little bit, and let’s jumpstart his health journey.”

“He’s taking it seriously,” she added. “Yeah, we’re only 13 days into the New Year, but that’s good enough for me.”

Rob has remained out of the public eye and mostly off the family’s reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, for two years while battling depression and gaining more than 100 lbs.

“He was also told he needs to rethink his whole lifestyle. He needs to see a dietician and change the way he eats,” a source told PEOPLE in December. “If he doesn’t change his lifestyle, he was told that it could have serious consequences.”
