'RHONY' : Did LuAnn de Lesseps Know About Her Fiancé's 'Friends with Benefits' Relationship with Sonja Morgan?

Fans of RHONY are left wondering what LuAnn de Lesseps really knew about Sonja Morgan and Tom D'Agostino, Jr.'s relationship

Luann de Lesseps‘ relationship with Tom D’Agostino, Jr. continues to dominate the drama on the The Real Housewives of New York City, and question arose on Wednesday’s episode as to whether de Lesseps was aware that D’Agostino had a sexual relationship with Sonja Morgan before they began dating.

It was Ramona Singer who raised the point to Morgan, claiming de Lesseps was, in fact, aware of Morgan and D’Agostino, Jr.’s 10-year “friends with benefits” status.

“LuAnn knew? About me?” Morgan asked upon hearing the news.

“Yeah,” Singer said, as the episode ended with a “To Be Continued …” card.

The bombshell dropped when the girls gathered on a private yacht in Palm Beach to celebrate de Lesseps’ engagement. “It feels amazing to be this happy again in my life,” the Countess told viewers. “I just want the women to be happy – I want them to celebrate with me, to have an amazing party on this beautiful yacht. It doesn’t get better than this!

But Singer came to the event already annoyed with de Lesseps, claiming she had told the press about Singer’s previous relationship with D’Agostino, Jr.

“LuAnn speaks to the press, and they get the quote wrong,” she told Morgan and Jules Wainstein. “They said I was his friend with benefits, instead of [Sonja]. Now my current boyfriends are reading this and they’re like, ‘What the heck?’ ‘Cause I don’t give benefits, and they’re going, ‘Well, gee Ramona .’ ”

“I think she’s a sex addict, between you and I,” she later told Morgan and Dorinda Medley.

De Lesseps defended herself to constant mediator Medley, claiming, “I can say what I want to the press because it’s me. It’s my engagement and it’s my man – it’s not their’s. So I can talk about whatever I want to!”

She also refused to address the incident at the party, telling Medley that Singer was “an idiot.”

“She’s not going to ruin my evening,” de Lesseps said. “Nobody’s going to ruin my evening and nobody’s going to ruin my life with Tom. This night is going to go off without a hitch. And believe me – Ramona Singer and her stinger is not going to affect me. Bring it on.”

As they all gathered together on the boat and awaited D’Agostino, Jr.’s arrival, de Lesseps wrote off his previous relationships, calling him her soulmate. “We’re perfect for each other. We’re the perfect match,” she said.

“Oh, he was a player, for sure,” she admitted. “But like I said – Before Lu? I couldn’t give a flying leap.”

The statement bothered Morgan, who admitted to viewers that she was feeling awkward.

“I lost a companion, I lost a lover and I lost a dinner date,” Morgan said. “And she keeps saying ‘But that’s that Before Lu‘. And it’s very dismissive to me because I am B.L. – I am Before Lu. But I’m sucking it right now for A.L. – for After Lu.”

As the night went on, Morgan started to get more nervous about seeing her ex lover again. “I really thought I was cool with this thing with Tom and LuAnn,” she said. “And now that I’m on the boat and I know I’m going to go up and see them, I’m starting to get very emotional.”

Their reunion will have to wait until next week, where we’ll find out how D’Agostino, Jr. sorts out his complicated relationship with Singer and Morgan – and what de Lesseps has to say about Bethenny Frankel‘s mysterious smoking gun that could “blow up this whole engagement.”

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Wednesdays (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
