Sunday’s Real Housewives of New Jersey was a must-see, as the ladies gathered together for the first part of their two-part reunion. Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita, Melissa Gorga, Siggy Flicker and Dolores Catania all came to the RHONJ reunion ready to tackle the season 7 drama and confront some major differences. Here were five of the evening’s biggest bombshells. 1. Giudice wants Danielle Staub back on RHONJ Virginia Sherwood/NBC/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty They had one of the biggest feuds in Real Housewives of New Jersey history. But it looks like Giudice is ready to make amends with former Housewife Danielle Staub. The two have put their past behind them recently, getting together off-camera for yoga after years of bitter fighting. And on Sunday, Giudice told host Andy Cohen she wants her old pal to return to the show. “I would love for her to come back,” Giudice, 44, said of Staub — who left the show after its first two seasons. The news confused Laurita, who wondered why Giudice would want Staub around again after the attacks she led. But Giudice had a simple answer: “I want her to come back to attack you.” Staub, 54, did make an appearance at the reunion … sort of. She asked Giudice whether she would try to make amends with Staub and her children. “I’m sorry,” Giudice said — showing that she was ready to move on. 2. Giudice and Laurita got into a heated exchange about their daughters Heidi Gutman/Bravo It’s not often that the daughters of the Real Housewives get involved in the drama going on with their mothers. But when Laurita’s daughter Ashlee Holmes tweeted a photo of Giudice comparing her to an ape, the gloves were off. “Your daughter needs to learn respect,” Giudice said. “Did you yell at her when she put those pictures up?” Laurita, 46, said her 26-year-old daughter was simply defending her mom from Giudice, who had made comments about her face looking deformed. Then she claimed Giudice’s daughter Gia had sent nasty tweets about her: “Your daughter needs to learn respect Teresa because she tweeted me.” Giudice backed Gia up — and stood up and twirled for the camera asking everyone “Do I look like an ape?” Holmes, who gave birth to a baby boy in August, continued to receive her mother’s support. “My daughter is an amazing, beautiful mother,” Laurita said. “It’s her sense of humor. [I thought it was funny], I’m not going to lie.” 3. Gorga doesn’t think she’s going to visit Joe Giudice in prison Heidi Gutman/Bravo Teresa’s husband Joe is currently eight months into his 41-month sentence for bankruptcy fraud, which he’s currently serving at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey. But there’s one person who he probably won’t be seeing anytime soon: his wife’s sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga. The 37-year-old fashion boutique owner has spoken to Joe since his sentence began — on the phone. “If he knows I’m going to their house, he’ll say, ‘Tell me when you guys are eating’ and then he calls and talks to everyone,” Teresa explained. 4. Joe Gorga was 9 years old when he lost his virginity Heidi Gutman/Bravo Teresa’s brother Joe has always been bold when it comes to talking about sex with his wife Melissa. (Need any of us be reminded about the “poison”). But he took it to the next level on Sunday when he revealed the shocking age he lost his virginity. “I became a man at 9 years old,” he said. “That’s what we do — it made me a man.” As shocked as everyone was, Teresa wasn’t one of them. She said she walked in on him at the time — and used it to blackmail Joe growing up. “I always threatened him with that,” the Turning Tables author admitted. “That was my upper hand. ‘I’ll tell mommy and daddy what you did.’ And then he would listen to whatever I said.” 5. Teresa accused Laurita of calling the feds on her BravoTV Insults and accusations are expected whenever the Real Housewives revisit the previous season. But in Housewives history, none are as damning as the one Teresa made against Laurita and RHONJ alum Caroline Manzo. Teresa claimed the two were behind the government’s investigation into her family’s finances — a case that sent both Teresa and her husband Joe to jail. HOUSEWIVES FLASHBACK: Teresa Says Goodbye on the RHONJ reunion “You set me up,” she told Laurita. “In my gut it was you, or you and Caroline. You guys were behind everything — calling the government … You were in cahoots. You are gross, and that’s why you set me up.” Laurita couldn’t believe the accusation — and vehemently denied it. “What? Oh my God!” she screamed. “You think I called the government on you? Are you kidding? Do you seriously think I called the government on you? That is not true.” But Teresa stood by her words. “I’m so glad I got that off my chest,” she said. “I believe that — I believe it in my gut. I feel it in my gut.” If anything, the accusation gave Laurita some perspective on where Teresa might be coming from. “No wonder you’re so angry,” she said. The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sundays (10 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
