The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills turned into a real-life soap opera Tuesday night, as Brandi Glanville tossed a glass of wine in Eileen Davidson‘s face.

“Do the scene you did today,” said Glanville, who begged the soap actress to reenact her Days of Our Lives character at a dinner organized by Lisa Rinna. “I just want to see the side of her I see on Days, which is the villain who sleeps around.”

Glanville did not warm to Davidson after the actress shared the story of how she met and fell in love with husband (and former teen idol) Vince Van Patten while she was still married.

“Break up and then get together with them,” remarked Glanville, whose nasty and very public split from Eddie Cibrian occurred after he had an affair with LeAnn Rimes while still married to Glanville.

“That’s why I have so much empathy for you,” offered Davidson. “We didn’t want to hurt anybody.”

“Your honesty is amazing,” Glanville said to Davidson before adding, “It’s hard for me not to feel mad.”

Glanville then begged Davidson to turn into her Days character, even offering up cash to see her act.

“I don’t want to play this game,” said an uncomfortable Davidson. “I don’t want to reenact a scene from the show.”

“I’ll throw a drink on you,” Glanville joked – before actually doing it and laughing.

“I’ve never had a glass of wine thrown in my face,” said a clearly stunned Davidson, who was drenched and near tears. “I’m confused, angry and humiliated.”

“It was absolutely inappropriate and weird,” said fellow soap actress Rinna. “If she had thrown the drink in my face I’d probably be in a cop car.”

“I think I just did it for a soap opera moment,” Glanville offered as apology.

“Who throws a glass of wine in somebody’s face?” Davidson asked her husband the next day, before attending a party hosted by Yolanda and David Foster, where Glanville brought her a necklace as a peace offering.

“It’s very weird,” said Davidson. “It’s like a kiss and a slap at the same time.”

“I wanted you to go into your character? I’ve been a fan since high school,” responded Glanville. “I was drinking Do you accept my apology?”

“I do,” said Davidson. “I don’t like to get caught up in the petty stuff that doesn’t matter. But I still don’t trust her.”

“She’s nuts,” Rinna warned her friend later. “What I see is this wounded little girl no one drinks that much if they’re happy.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesday (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
