Emily VanCamp, Gabriel Mann and More React on Twitter to Revenge Cancellation
"You will never know how much it's meant to all of us," the actress Tweeted after the announcement
After four seasons of scheming, drama and backstabbing on the addicting ABC hit Revenge, the show has officially been canceled, leaving dedicated fans – and cast members – still reeling from the announcement.
“We can officially tell our fans that this will be the end of the story,” executive producer Sunil Nayar told EW.
“The show is still popular, it’s loved worldwide. I can see why all the arguments from even an economic standpoint to maybe keep it going, but at the end of the day – kind of like they had with Lost – they support creativity above all,” Nayar said.
Cast members took to Twitter to thank their dedicated Revenge fans and express their gratitude for four great years (also with some emotional Throwback Thursday photos).
“Huge thank you and mad love to all of our devoted #Revenge fans over the years! You will never know how much it’s meant to all of us,” Emily VanCamp, who stars in the series as Emily Thorne, Tweeted on Wednesday.
The series finale airs May 10 at 10 p.m. on ABC.
