All My Children star Rebecca Budig, who is currently competing on Skating With the Stars, took a tumble on the ice Saturday while rehearsing a tricky move with partner Fred Palascak.
In the video provided by ABC, the two appear to shaken but undeterred by the fall. Later in the day, however, Budig, 37, continued to experience pain and swelling in her wrist and went to a local hospital for X-rays, her rep tells PEOPLE.
“Nothing is broken,” her rep says. “But she’s in pain and there will have to be adjustments to the routine so that she is able to skate and not re-injure herself.”
Budig is expected to skate live in the competition Monday night (8 p.m. ET, ABC), along with the four remaining celebrities.
But Monday morning brought two more Skating-related injuries: Sonny With a Chance star Brandon Mychal Smith was rushed to the hospital with food poisoning.
No sooner did Smith’s ambulance depart the CBS studio lot, but Olympic skier Jonny Mosely had a freak accident with his professional skating partner, Brooke Castile. Mosely’s skate went through Castile s finger, causing her to also take a trip to the hospital for stitches. Remarkably, Castile is expected to return in time to perform live on Monday’s show.
Smith, meanwhile, “is a question mark,” an ABC spokesperson tells PEOPLE. If he s unable to perform, “we may have to play back his rehearsal for competition purposes in the show.”
