Real Housewives Slam Kelsey Grammer's Hopes to Run for Mayor
"He's got to learn how to run a family first before he can run a city," Kyle Richards tells PEOPLE
Good thing Kelsey Grammer isn’t thinking of running for mayor of Beverly Hills.
TV’s Real Housewives from that city jumped at the chance to ridicule his desire to run for mayor of New York.
“He’s got to learn how to run a family first before he can run a city,” Kyle Richards told PEOPLE at the NBC Universal Press Tour All-Star party in L.A. on Monday night.
“He’s such a good example of great morals and family values,” Lisa Vanderpump added sarcastically, while the rest of the cast laughed. “I’ll be voting for him with a kick up the a–.”
Of course, this is not an unbiased constituency. Kelsey’s ex Camille, 42, appears on Real Housewives and is locked in a custody battle with the actor.
For her part, Camille kept her cool and relied on her ladies to render their opinions
“I might be thinking it,” she says, “but it’s better that they say those things than me.”
