Entertainment TV 'Real Housewives of Orange County' : Tamra Barney Breaks Down When Her Son Announces He's Getting Married "You can't just spring this on me! This is not right!" Barney screams at son Ryan and his girlfriend By Wade Rouse Published on July 22, 2014 04:00 AM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP After Shannon Beador’s mega-meltdown on last week’s The Real Housewives of Orange County, it was only a matter of time before the blood pressure of the other wives was raised. After the latest shouting match between Beador and Heather Dubrow, which saw Beador storm out of Lizzie Rovsek’s beach house party, Beador took a walk with her husband, David, and then apologized to the wives for getting upset. “I feel as though I got ambushed,” said Beador. “I’m human, but I’m not proud of my display of humanness.” “Tamra’s up to something,” remarked Vicki Gunvalson. “I think she’s afraid of Heather.” “I don’t do well when I drink. I say stupid things,” admitted Tamra Barney. And then she said something really stupid, all but admitting she was the one who told Shannon that the Dubrows wanted “to take the Beadors down” – the words that caused Beador’s meltdown. “Did I?” she said coyly. “Who knows?” But Barney had a meltdown of her own when her eldest son, Ryan Vieth, told her that he was quitting his job at her fitness center and moving to Auburn, California, to be with his girlfriend, Sarah Rodriguez, whom he recently met on Instagram. “I think they have buggies and carriages there,” said Barney, before asking to meet her. “I don’t think he realizes that what he’s doing is going to affect the rest of his life.” Barney was in for a shock when the two finally came face-to-face. Not only was Rodriguez a mother of three, but she also owned a gun store (and was carrying a pistol in her purse). Shannon Beador Has a Major Meltdown But the bigger shock? “She kind of looks like me,” said Barney. “It’s weird.” And the biggest shock of all? The two had already set a wedding date – September 6. It was an announcement that left Barney in tears and shouting at the couple. “You can’t just spring this on me! This is not right!” Gunvalson, at least, tried to make it right between her boyfriend Brooks Ayers and her daughter, Briana, by having a therapy session with Briana before she moved to Oklahoma, and Gunvalson and Ayers maybe moved in together. Tamra Barney’s Going to Be a Grandma “I don’t want her to manipulate me and make me feel bad,” Briana told the counselor, before admitting, “maybe the Brooks situation is the way I fight back” against her mom for ruling her life. “My whole life, everything was made about my mom.” “There’s gonna be one day when I have a woo-hoo celebration [about Brooks and Briana],” said an optimistic Gunvalson.
