Entertainment TV 'RHOC' Finale: Vicki Gunvalson Says a Teary Goodbye to Daughter Briana Also, Terry Dubrow yells at David Beador during Gunvalson's post-Bali party By Wade Rouse Published on August 19, 2014 11:00 AM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Rudy Martinez/Bravo/NBCU Photo Bank/Getty Emotions ran high on Monday’s season finale of The Real Housewives of Orange County, as Vicki Gunvalson‘s post-Bali party turned to folly. “I just want everyone to get along and pretend we’re in Bali,” Gunvalson said, before adding prophetically, “but I might tell the caterers to put away all the sharp knives.” Good idea. Although Gunvalson went all out with her tropical theme, there was little spiritual about the attendees, despite some genuine attempts to make amends. “I sincerely apologize. I meant no offense,” Shannon Beador’s husband David told Heather Dubrow’s husband Terry in reference to coarse remarks made at the Dubrows’ groundbreaking. “I was pissed at you for saying ‘Spread your legs’ to my wife,” yelled the furious doctor, who refused to accept the apology before poking fun at the “dumb construction guy.” “You were either drunk or stupid for doing that,” he said. “We have a term for you in medicine. It’s called penis!” “Who doesn’t accept an apology when someone’s being sincere?” asked Gunvalson. “How many times do we need to apologize?” asked a calm Shannon Beador, who emerged a changed woman, saying she now slept in the same bed with her husband again and also went to bed at the same time. “I have to honestly say, if this conversation took place three months ago, I would be screaming,” she said. “I left that person in Bali I have learned that family is the most important thing.” Meanwhile, Tamra Barney and Lizzie Rovsek didn’t handle their ongoing feud so well. “Are you ever going to apologize to me?” Barney asked Rovsek in reference to their fight in Bali. “Whatever you think I’ve said, I apologize I was upset about my birthday,” said Rovsek. “Oh, dear God. Here we go again when she doesn’t get her way, she’s like a spoiled rotten child,” said Barney, who called the Southern beauty queen “Kentucky Fried T—ies.” But Barney, who admitted she was having some really bad issues with ex-husband Simon, did make amends with Gunvalson’s boyfriend Brooks. “The first time we ever fought was about you,” Barney told Brooks of her friendship with Gunvalson, which she was trying to “salvage.” “Just keep her happy,” she added. What would have made Gunvalson happy was not seeing Briana and her family leave the O.C. for Oklahoma, a tear-jerking scene that ended the season. “I’m losing my best friend,” a bawling Gunvalson said of her daughter before watching her family drive away. “There goes my life It’s like part of my heart is going with her.” Part one of the The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion airs Monday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
