Entertainment TV 'Real Housewives of Orange County' Star Meghan King Edmonds: 'I Don't Think Brooks Has Cancer' "Every single person thinks what I am verbalizing," King Edmonds tells PEOPLE By Emily Strohm Published on September 11, 2015 03:30 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Getty(2) While this isn’t the first time that The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Meghan King Edmonds has called Brooks Ayers’ cancer into question, the reality star says she’s not the only person who has her doubts. “Every single person thinks what I am verbalizing,” King Edmonds tells PEOPLE over doubts that Ayers is, in fact, battling Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. “The general hypothesis is that, for example in last week’s episode, I go to the doctor because I have a lump and I need to get it checked out,” she explains. “You see that in the episode, but there’s really no follow-up because it was an infection. Well, what if I said, ‘It’s not an infection but cancer.’ No one can disprove that, and there is actual evidence of it starting somewhere because I did go to the doctor. It’s a real thing, but if I wanted to let that story grow legs I could because no one can prove it. I think that’s what might have happened with Brooks.” Although they called it quits last month Ayers’ long time on-again, off-again girlfriend Vicki Gunvalson has stood by him despite accusations about the status of his health. But King Edmonds isn’t convinced. “[As for] the answer to the question ‘Does Brooks have cancer?'” she says, “I don’t think so, but I can’t disprove that. The only thing that can actually prove or disprove it is medical records, and the only person who has access to those is the individual.” RELATED VIDEO: Which Real Housewives Franchise Would Vicki Gunvalson Really Want to Be On?
