"I'm not ready to throw in the towel," said Gunvalson at Mexican-themed party she held for the wives

Vicki Gunvalson held a Mexican-themed fiesta – complete with a piñata – during The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s episode on Monday night, and at least she and Tamra Judge hit it and not each other.

“Being in Mexico always makes me think of Tamra,” said Gunvalson, who called Judge out of the blue while on a trip with boyfriend Brooks. “I miss my friend.”

“My relationship with Vicki changed when Brooks came into the picture,” said Judge. “He put a wedge between us.”

But the two played nice, with Judge being cordial to Brooks (although Shannon Beador was icy to Judge after she betrayed her last season).

“It’s very difficult to smack a piñata in 7-in. heels,” said Judge, while new Housewife Meghan King Edmonds, wife of former baseball star Jim Edmonds, knocked it out of the park.

“Maybe being married to a professional baseball player helps,” said Edmonds, whose batting skills set loose bottles of tequila and handcuffs.

Gunvalson and Judge ended up holding hands and talking, although Gunvalson was not pleased that Judge had not supported her during Brooks’ cancer diagnosis and treatment.

“Shut your mouth and stop talking about my man,” Gunvalson told her.

“You can’t let it go,” said Judge, who, however, did “apologize 100 percent” and tell her former best friend, “I love you.”

“Do you?” asked Gunvalson before the two did a tequila shot. “I’m not ready to throw in the towel.”

“Hence the cycle begins again,” remarked Beador of the pair’s turbulent relationship.

Elsewhere, Beador died – or rather showed her husband, David, what it would be like if did – as she struggled to save her troubled marriage in therapy.

Beador and her husband wrote their own eulogies, which each read emotionally as his or her partner lay in front of their a tombstone.

“I can’t imagine him not in my life,” said Beador, who stated her “devastated” children discovered his affair when one of her daughters picked up cell phone to discover texts with another woman. “I forgive David for the affair. I have hope for the future.”

David later apologized to his children and asked for their forgiveness.

“My heart just breaks that she had to go through it,” Beador said of her daughter, who broke down when her father apologized.

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Mondays (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
