Entertainment TV 'Real Housewives of New York City' Recap: Why Did Ramona Singer Tearfully Apologize to the Countess? "I will forgive but I will never forget," said LuAnn de Lesseps, while Bethenny Frankel battled over brunch in the Hamptons By Wade Rouse Published on April 15, 2015 01:35 AM Share Tweet Pin Email Trending Videos Photo: Andrew Toth/Getty The Real Housewives of New York City headed to the Hamptons Tuesday night, where the wives wined, whined and dined. “It’s a lot having people go through your stuff,” said LuAnn de Lesseps, who held an estate sale at the Hamptons home she was selling. “I had a lot of great times and a lot of sad times.” Both of which Ramona Singer evoked before apologizing to the Countess for being so crass to her in the past about her difficult divorce. “I owe you the biggest apology, I really do,” said an emotional Singer, who accused the Countess last year of being in an open relationship and having a cheating husband. “Now I know what you went through I’m so upset about what I said. It was callous.” But the Countess didn’t forgive so easily. “We’ll see. I’ve had apologies from you before,” said the Countess. “I will forgive her, but I will never forget what she’s done in the past.” The Countess had a party for the wives at her new Hamptons home, a smaller but still beautiful waterfront cottage that didn’t quite impress Sonja Morgan. “I pull up to her new place, I think, ‘Cozy,’ ” said Morgan dismissively, who brought beer in her purse. New Housewife Dorinda Medley had by far the best lines of the night, all about “Lady Morgan.” “Everybody knows Sonja,” said Medley upon meeting her. “She’s sort of like an urban myth . She’s Mary Poppins meets Zsa Zsa Gabor.” But Singer and Bethenny Frankel weren’t very Mary Poppins to each other as they battled over who would be hosting brunch. “My next book is Bitches Who Brunch,” said Frankel, who offended Singer by inviting her guests to her home for brunch. “It’s good to see Ramona’s still f—ing nuts.” “I describe Bethenny as a cat,” said Singer. “You never know if she’s going to curl up next to you or claw you.” When the two tried to talk it out, it didn’t go so well. “Can I just say something?” asked Frankel. “You always do,” responded Singer. “Take a deep breath, Bethenny.” “All of a sudden I was in a straitjacket,” joked Frankel, who made it clear she didn’t want to hang and rushed to her car. “I was Girl, Interrupted.” “It’s the battle of the alpha dogs,” said Carole Radziwill, who at least had some fun spending time in the kitchen with Countess LuAnn’s handsome chef. “I am very attracted to very attractive men. It’s a problem,” said takeout queen Radziwill, who burned herself. “If Adam is LuAnn’s personal chef, I’m going to have to eat here more often.” The Real Housewives of New York airs Tuesdays (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
