'Real Housewives of New York' Recap: Watch Bethenny Frankel's Uncomfortable Reunion with Kelly Bensimon

What’s tastier than a bag of jelly beans? Seeing Bethenny Frankel‘s uncomfortable surprise reunion with former enemy Kelly Bensimon on Tuesday’s The Real Housewives of New York City.

“Jelly bean Kelly?” joked Ramona Singer, whose funny reaction was matched by Frankel’s shock. “Ugh, really? Kelly Bensimon? That is so 2000 and who cares.”

Frankel was taken aback to find her longtime enemy and Scary Island fight partner had been invited by LuAnn de Lesseps to a girls’ night out in the city.

“You don’t invite someone I was enemies with to girls’ night that’s a little bit slithery,” Frankel told the Countess. “I have a history with Kelly We really used to butt heads It’s like bringing an ex-boyfriend.”

“It’s time for you to let it go,” said the Countess.

“You left out a person intentionally,” said Frankel, who ended up giving Bensimon a friendly kiss instead of a piece of her mind like she used to do in the past.

The show was filled to the brim with uncomfortable moments, including a Hamptons brunch-off between Frankel and Singer, who wigged out last week when Bethenny invited her houseguests to her home.

“Ramona was invited The whole damn circus was invited,” said Frankel, who admitted she was upset at Singer for taking a dress from her former talk show, not returning it, saying it fell out of her car and then later wearing it in a photo she posted on Instagram. “She went off-the-rails psycho crazy when I invited Sonja Morgan to brunch.”

But Dorinda Medley perhaps summed up the brunch best.

“I just listened to these old bitches fight the whole time,” said Medley.

It was also uncomfortable to watch the Countess tell Singer that estranged husband Mario was now on dating sites.

“We had something beyond special,” said a crying Singer. “I feel like sometimes I’m in a nightmare because I never thought it would happen it’s very public and very humiliating.”

But Singer later rebounded at the girls’ night by flirting and dancing with a lot of single men (as did, of course, Morgan).

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Tuesdays (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
