PEOPLE has the exclusive First Look at Turning the Tables, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s upcoming memoir. The book, which was co-penned by PEOPLE’s own K.C. Baker, goes behind the scenes at Giudice’s dramatic rise to reality TV fame, her marriage and tight-knit Italian family, and the recent federal prison sentence from which she will be released on Dec. 23. (Her husband Joe, 43, begins his own sentence for associated crimes in March.) “People think they know everything about me but they don’t. Not even close,” writes Giudice, 43, in a release. Written during her 11.5-month stay in prison, the book also features never-before-seen scans of her diary while detailing what life is truly like in a federal corrections facility and how the mother of four found strength during one of the most trying times of her life. Writes Giudice: “The world will see a new Teresa. A different Teresa. Well, actually, the Teresa I always was.” RELATED VIDEO: Joe Giudice Reveals Post-Prison Plans with Wife Teresa Turning the Tables will be released by Gallery Books on Feb. 9, 2016.
