Entertainment TV Joe Giudice Reveals Post-Prison Plans with Wife Teresa: 'We'll Be Spending a lot of Time in the Bedroom' The RHONJ star is expected to return home in December By People Staff Published on October 8, 2015 08:00 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Joe Giudice knows how he and wife Teresa will be spending their time when she returns home from prison. “We’ll be spending a lot of time in the bedroom for awhile, that’s for sure,” the Real Housewives of New Jersey husband said with a smile during an interview on Thursday’s E! News. “Every night until I go in.” He said he’s made sure to train his four daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana, to sleep in their own rooms, which means the couple will have plenty of privacy when Teresa returns. “The last two years have been rough, but I’m glad it’s behind us,” Joe said. “Start a new life. Start all over again and put everything behind you and just hope it all stays nice.” Joe, 43, also spoke about taking on a more maternal role for his girls. “I’m like the mom – I’m like the cheer mom,” he said. “It’s exciting watching the cheer, because they’re doing a lot of flips and all this other stuff.” Joe will be heading to prison following Teresa’s sentence. The husband and wife were sentenced to 41 months and 15 months in prison in October 2014, respectively, after pleading guilty to mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud the previous March. Teresa’s sentence began on Jan. 5, and she is expected home in December. Giudice blames himself for his wife’s prison sentence. “I was supposed to go away, not her. That was part of the plea, or I thought anyway,” he said in an interview with Today Wednesday. Giudice’s life at home with his four daughters is being chronicled in a three-part reality special that will premiere Sunday. The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In premieres Sunday (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
