“I’m not someone who can eat whatever,” she says. “I’ve always battled my weight. I’m much curvier than my sisters. It’s always been my Achilles heel. The struggle is real!”
Now, as an investor in Artisan Bistro, a line of organic, non-GMO, low-calorie frozen meals, the reality star says she can eat healthy, even when she’s in a rush (a red carpet gala perhaps?). “It’s something that I can really stand behind,” says Richards. “I’d always eat those frozen diet dinners, and I couldn’t pronounce the ingredients!”
Frozen dinners may not seem very Beverly Hills, but, for Richards, the meals are healthy time-savers. “I posted a picture on social media and someone said, ‘Oh please, a Real Housewife eats frozen foods?’ I 100 percent do! I was doing it before it was healthy!”
Richards, who says she’s always had to “eat way less than everybody else and work out way more just to maintain” her weight, is often seen hiking on the show, but for now she’s down at least one exercise buddy.
“[My sister] Kim and I have always had our ups and downs,” says Richards of the epic battles that have played out onscreen this season. “Is Brandi [Glanville] 100 percent of the problem? Absolutely not. But I do feel she contributed. I don’t see us being friends again.”
