Kyle Richards Shares How She Copes with Negativity from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
The mother of four does SoulCycle, yoga or hikes six days a week
Beverly Hills Housewife Kyle Richards is no stranger to drama and negativity, but the mom of four has a steadfast routine to ensure she’s taking care of herself despite the stress.
“I’m a tough cookie sometimes,” she told PEOPLE at Monday’s NBC Upfronts event, “but I’m really emotional and really sensitive.”
Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was chock-full of drama between Richards, 47, and the other women.
To counterbalance the negativity, Richards revealed to PEOPLE that she takes care of herself through “meditating, yoga and praying.”
And while in her earlier days she worked out for the physical benefits, she now says she breaks a sweat primarily for her mental and emotional well-being.
Her routine mostly consists of SoulCycle, hiking and yoga. “I do everything,” she says, “I have to! I have four kids and it gets harder each year – I do whatever I can to stay afloat.”
In addition to balancing her four daughters and Housewives, Richards is embarking on a new adventure with a scripted series.
“I have a scripted show that I’m producing inspired my life growing up in the ’70s,” she says of her latest project with Warner Brothers and TV Land, which is expected to premiere in early 2017. “We already got the ball rolling!”
