Real Housewives of Atlanta Season Finale: What Did Apollo Nida Say in His Surprise Call from Prison?
Nida made a surprise call from prison and delivered an emotional plea
“Kentucky is not a hop, skip and jump from Atlanta,” said Phaedra Parks, who acknowledged she was in a difficult position as to whether or not to take her two young children to visit their father. “He’s at a place where they don’t even have a nursery it’s a no-win situation.”
“Do you know that she filed for divorce?” Thomas asked Nida.
“She told me,” Nida acknowledged, before his call abruptly ended. “What can I do?”
Meanwhile, Leakes made her Broadway debut in Cinderella, but none of the wives took up her invitation to see the show. (Parks did send her a congratulatory text.)
“The invite was legit, but I didn’t hear from anybody about coming to the debut,” said Leakes. “Quite frankly, I don’t think they should come.”
And they didn’t, but it didn’t deter her. (“All that I’ve accomplished, I’m the real Cinderella,” she said after her opening night.)
“I’m pretty sure our tickets got lost in the mail,” said Kenya Moore, who instead invited the wives to see a screening of the pilot for her new show, Life Twirls On. “Break a leg, NeNe. No, really: Break a leg.”
Here’s hoping nothing gets broken – remember last year’s brawl? – on part one of the reunion airing Sunday (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
