Well it’s about time. While the other Housewives have been at each other’s throats — Gretchen vs. Tamra! Gretchen vs. Lynne! — Vicki has been relatively drama free, focusing instead on bringing the love back to her marriage to Donn, setting up her daughter, planning girls-only get-togethers and her insurance business. But on this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, the show’s only remaining original cast member brought the drama to Lynne‘s housewarming party.

Despite Lynne’s desire to leave “all the drama by the front door” and Tamra’s hope that Vicki and her husband Simon would reconcile, it didn’t take long for the arguing to begin.

“Stay out of my marriage,” Simon told her as his only request.

“I got sucked into the marriage,” Vicki said. “Don’t even go there.”

After a handshake, Vicki told Tamra she should have stuck up for her. “I don’t know why he thinks I’m in your marriage,” she added. “I don’t give a rat’s ass about it.”

“You told him that he was too controlling,” Tamra explained.

“He is,” Vicki said.

Later at the dinner table, Vicki was bored with Alexis‘s long-winded story about how she met her husband, so she and Donn pretended like they’d fallen asleep, nodding off and snoring to interrupt her tale.

“To me that’s just rude,” Alexis said — and later, “I’m sorry that I’m telling my story right now and the spotlight’s not on you!”

And then, offending the rest of the guests, Vicki made a comment about why Donn wasn’t invited to the trip to Florida: “He works,” she said, implying that the others don’t have jobs.

“I don’t know what the hell Vicki’s talking about. I’ve been working my butt off trying to launch my makeup line,” Gretchen said. “I think it’s insulting.”

“How dare you insinuate that you guys work and we don’t,” Alexis said. “I’m the mother of three small children and I have a husband who I take exceptional care of. If that’s not work, I don’t know what is.”

After Vicki and Donn left Lynne’s house, she burst into tears in the limo, imagining what was being said about her back at the party. “They’re just mean,” she said. “It’s hurtful.”

Thankfully, we don’t have to imagine: “I see the good in Vicki,” Tamra told the group. “I see that she’s lacking something in her life because she’s got this huge insecurity issue. She’s a very jealous person. There’s a part of me that feels sorry for her. I want to think that she means well and she doesn’t know any better but it’s getting to the point where it’s overwhelming.”

Oh, but the drama didn’t end there! In a final scene, while Lynne and her husband were away, their daughter was served with an eviction notice. So much for the housewarming!
