Following news of the separation, Wainstein, 35, received support from her costars, including Ramona Singer. “I’m very saddened for Jules. I know her heart’s broken. It’s never easy when there are problems in a marriage, especially when you realize you need to divorce and I’m there for her,” Singer, 59, told E! News. “She’s doing as well as she can in the situation and her priority – because she is such a great mother – are her two children.” She added, “I think Jules was totally shocked by what happened and was very disappointed and it’s sad. It’s just very sad. I’ve already spoken a number of times with her and I plan to meet with her and just be there to support her in any way I can.” Following Wednesday’s episode of RHONY, host Andy Cohen pointed out on Watch What Happens Live that “there was some serious foreshadowing” of Jules and Michael’s marital tensions. “I am very surprised,” Sonja Morgan, who was the guest of the night, told Cohen about how she reacted to the divorce news. “I did speak with Jules, it’s kinda devastating. They’re pretty discrete people, it’s hard it’s hard to take in.” The couple, who have been married eight years, are parents to children Rio, 2, and Jagger, 5.
