Manuela Arbelaez come on down … and explain why you accidentally gave away a free car on The Price is Right!

The 26-year-old model who awarded a $22,000 car to an undeserving contestant on Thursday’s show sat down with Inside Edition’s Jim Moret to talk about her (now viral) blooper.

“I was mortified!” the Columbian born model said, explaining, “I was mortified because I thought A) this is my last day at work, B) it s going to get taken out of my paycheck every week.

Here’s how Arbelaez describes the blunder:

I thought [the contestant] only had one chance to guess the price of the car, and after I heard the buzzer, I’m like, Alright, game over.

“When someone loses our natural reaction is to reveal the remaining tags to show the audience and the viewers the correct price.”

But what she didn’t realize was that the contestant “had two more chances to guess the price.”

Fortunately, the show’s host, Drew Carey, has a pretty good sense of humor.

Drew could not have been more supportive, same with the producers … They thought it was the funniest moment and they embraced it.”

With her job security intact, Arbelaez has decided not to beat herself up: “At the end of the day, we’re only human and I obviously made a very expensive mistake. But I made someone very happy!”
