Poppy Montgomery, TV just can’t quit you!

After CBS canceled her mystery drama Unforgettable not once but twice, A&E is running to the rescue to order a fourth season of the show.

Deadline reports that the cable network is just finishing up a deal to pick up 13 fresh episodes of the drama, which stars Montgomery as a woman who has a rare condition that allows her to recall detailed events.

Dylan Walsh is also expected to reprise his role as her ex-boyfriend turned partner, Al Burns.

Unforgettable was first canned by CBS in the spring of 2012 even though it averaged a respectable 12.1 million viewers. After it looked like the producers would sell it to a cable network, CBS ordered another 13 episodes to air during the summer of 2013. It came back for the summer of 2014 but was axed in favor of renewals for summer hits like Under the Dome and Extant.
