It’s biology and we can’t change that.” That’s what Bill Baker (Third Watch‘s Michael Beach) tells his daughter Ginny (Kylie Bunbury) in a Pitch trailer exclusive to PEOPLE. But worry not, Bill has a plan. “We need a secret weapon,” he tells Ginny, who had dreams of becoming an all-star pitcher. “It’s called a screwball.” Through hard work and determination, Ginny not only impresses the men on the local baseball diamonds, she makes it all the way to the MLB in this new Fox drama series. The show also stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar as the star pitcher of Ginny’s new pro team (and her possible love interest?); Dan Lauria and Mark Consuelos and as the team’s manager and general manager, respectively and Ali Larter as Ginny’s agent and friend. Pitch and is slated to premiere Sept. 22 on Fox.
